He was only trying to help a lady in distress. Perhaps that is why Georgia Milton took pity on the man with no memories of who, what, nor where he was. Yet Georgia knew the man, who called himself Robinson, was someone, somewhere in society. His clothes, his manners, and his speech gave that away even though the man Georgia came to know over the next few days was not the true Roderick of before. Rather he was nothing but a gentleman and a scroundal. He had no purpose in life expecting all to bow to his desires. So when Roderick told Georgia she would never fit in with his peers, Georgia sets out to prove him wrong.
This was a fun read. Featuring two polar opposites, Marvelle treats fans to a taste of the ghetto from the eyes of an aristocrat. The downside of this fantastic tale is the backstory. This bogs down and stalls the flow as readers must become familiar with what has already happened but had not yet been told.
